We operate Delancey Sports Haliburton, DelanSKI Sports (Sir Sam’s Ski Hill), and Delancey Sports Muskoka (Bracebridge).
Delancey's was born in New York, but raised in cottage country.
When life brought us to Haliburton in 2020, we learned the local sporting goods store was closing its doors. We couldn’t imagine the town without one — so we decided to step up and keep that spirit alive. That’s how Delancey Sports began.
Our name is a tribute to our past. In New York City, we lived at the corner of Suffolk and Delancey. We called our home in Haliburton The Suffolk, so naming our store Delancey Sports just felt right — a nod to where our journey started.
We love Ontario’s cottage country — the people, the pace, and the endless ways to get outside. Our goal has always been to bring something different to the area: a place that feels welcoming, local, and full of great gear for every season.
In 2023, we opened DelanSKI Sports at Sir Sam’s Ski Hill — a dream come true for two ski lovers who can’t get enough of that hill.
By summer 2024, we expanded to Bracebridge with Delancey Sports Muskoka, and in 2025, we added something totally new — Delancey’s Arcade in both Haliburton and Bracebridge. It’s a one-of-a-kind, family-friendly hangout filled with sports-themed games, air hockey, consoles, and classic arcade fun. With a $5 entry and all games set to free play, it’s smiles all around.
